City of Reno on the Storm Drain campaign. The central focus of the project was an art project that a lot of other cities have had success using to get people to pay attention the storm drains and water quality, in fact, here’s a Pinterest gallery of some great storm drain art. Local Reno artist Bryce Chisolm, who does some pretty cool stuff with hand made stencils, customized three storm drains in Reno to get people to look at the mouth of the river a little differently. The city is pretty stoked with how it turned out. Here’s a video case study on the Reno storm drain art project by another local Reno video creator, Byron Evans, was able to produce using some of the footage and time lapse sequences of Bryce Chisolm painting the storm drain art. Anyway, the whole thing has been submitted for an “Addy.” The video I created, Public Art vs. Pollution, being a small part of the whole campaign. Fingers crossed! -M]]>
