Mammoth Lakes Tourism. The site catalogs all the major events of the summer happening in and around Mammoth Lakes California.

Features of note:

Landing Page: The simplified landing page is only seen once and gives the viewer a quick, simple way to sort the event view by preference. Social Enablement: The site is fully socially enabled including the Facebook Like/Send, Facebook Page box and Share This Plugin which tracks shares to Facebook, Twitter, Email and dozens of other social sharing services. View Options: The event list can be sorted by the 4 event types or by month. Post Dates and Order: In order to avoid confusion about the date of the event, each event post is entered into the WordPress system and scheduled for posting on the date of the event. The No Future Posts Plugin then forces display of all scheduled posts. Posts appear in chronological order thanks to the AZ Index plugin. Note, It is easy to modify the wordpress loop to serve both these functions, but using plugins simplifies the future modification of the template should the client want to make changes in coming seasons. -Mike
