I was recently asked to shoot a piece for local Northern Nevada beverage distributor to celebrate sales milestones in one of their keystone products, High Noon Hard Seltzers. The piece was edited by Greg Vannoy of 9mm Media in Las Vegas Nevada. Greg is a skilled videographer and video editor as well as gifted computer animation artist who I’ve worked with a lot over the last few years collaborating on projects that need a more detailed and polished visual look than I can do with my own skills. Greg also did the sound design, music selection, editing and color correction for this piece.
For this project, Greg wasn’t able to come up and shoot this himself, so he asked me to do it. I went out for a 1 day shoot at 2 locations including the Grand Sierra Resort and the distribution center in Spanish Springs. I was assisted by my Production Assistant, Charlie Richter from Charlie J Films.
We shot this with a Sony a7siii and a Sony FX3 using Sony lenses, Polar Pro VND filters for the outside shots and DJI Gimbal for the gimbal shots. Greg requested we shoot in the Sony S-Log 3 picture profile and 10 bit 4:2:2 for the widest dynamic range and most color detail possible. The drone I used for the shots out at the distribution center is a DJI David 2 Pro. The shoot was scripted by Greg Vannoy and we were shooting off a pretty detailed shot list based on that script.
The footage at the end was shot by the client on an iPhone. This video was for an internal promotion within the company to celebrate an impressive sales milestone of 10,000 cases sold and delivered.
If you’re looking for videography, video editing or video animation in Las Vegas, NV check out Greg Vannoy and 9mm media. We’re always stoked to work with Greg and love his work!
If you want to add high end digital animation or video motion graphics to any video I produce, Greg is my go-to guy.
Cheers,
